Admission

For the health and safety of our visitors, we are requiring timed tickets. This allows us to reduce museum capacity to 25% or less and encourages social distancing of 6 feet, while providing a fun and relaxing experience for everyone.

We highly recommend museum pass holders reserve your timed tickets online for a low-touch entry and to ensure you do not have to wait for entry when you arrive. Your timed tickets will be emailed to you and you will present them, along with the museum pass, to our admissions staff upon entry. You may present your tickets on your phone or on paper if you have printed the reservation at your library or home.

If you choose to visit the museum without reserving a time, you may have to wait until a slot is available to enter the museum.

Your reservation will grant you full access to the museum. This includes Dinosaur Hall, the dioramas, and the special exhibits. Special exhibit Survival of the Slowest, where you can see our live sloth, Lulu, will be open through October 25, and Wildlife Photographer of the Year will open on September 5. To maintain visitor safety, the Academy Shop and Café and some of our regular high-touch exhibits are closed at this time; this includes Outside In, Butterflies!, and The Big Dig.
