The Academy is open to the public Thursday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., in July and August.
We are now accepting bookings for group visits Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., between Wednesday, June 24 and Sunday, August 30. Please call 215-299-1060 for additional information about booking outside public opening hours.
Summer of Science Membership - Just $99
Do you find that you can’t make it to the Academy throughout the school year? Are you looking for some dino-mite ways to spend the summer months? Maybe you’re just in town for a few days and looking for an adventure! Whatever your reason, the Summer of Science membership is a great way to create lasting memories with family!
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, you receive:
- Unlimited free museum admission for 2 adults and up to 5 children (under 18)
- 10% off in the Academy Shop
- Discounts on programs and events
- Free admission to Academy festivals like Bug Fest
- Discounts at the parking garage at 1815 Cherry street
And memories that last a lifetime!
Summer of Science memberships are valid from the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend through the Sunday before Labor Day of the current year. Memberships are non-transferable. Summer of Science members can upgrade their membership to an annual Academy membership by September 30.
