Door 19: Off the Hook Recap

Written on: April 13, 2018

We had a great time at our second Door 19 event last night! The theme was “Off the Hook” and included some fantastic activities like:

behind-the-scenes tours of our Ichthyology and Malacology Collections
the chance to try Gyotaku (a traditional form of Japanese print making using fish)
a chance to watch a shark being dissected
making tiny terrariums with our friends from the Independence Seaport Museum
an open bar featuring beers from Flying Fish Brewing
tasty food from 12th Street Catering

Our next Door 19 event is Thursday, June 14 with the theme being “Boozy Botanicals”. Tickets go on sale April 23. Get all the details at http://door19philly.com
