Access to Science: Opening Doors to Autism
Saturday, October 20, 2018
9:00 AM-11:00 AM
Children on the autism spectrum and their families are invited to experience the museum before the crowds.
You can visit with the dinosaurs, explore our children’s discovery center Outside In, see our special Xtreme Bugs exhibit and wander through the dioramas at your own pace. At this edition, trick or treat as you visit our exhibits. Each exhibit (Outside In, Butterflies!, Xtreme Bugs and The Big Dig) will have a small treat for you to take home and cool Halloween-themed specimens for you to check out.
Museum Stories (images and descriptions of our exhibits) are available to provide you and your children with visual and written information about your upcoming visit to the museum. They can be found on our website at http://www.ansp.org/visit/plan/accessibility.
Preregistration is required (same-day registration is available onsite). If you would like to attend, please contact our visitor services department at 215-299-1060 or ANS_reservations@drexel.edu. Please provide the following information: contact name, email, phone, total number of attendees, number of children and their ages. To ensure a positive experience, space is limited!
