Academy Kids Club Open House
Saturday, February 5, 2022
10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Join us at the Academy of Natural Sciences on Saturday, February 5 for a free open house to learn more about the Academy Kids Club.
This year, in celebration of the Academy’s Water Year, we’re helping our Kids Club members earn the U.N. Water Challenge Badge. The open house will introduce children and their families to the challenge badge activities and provide take-home resources to help Kids Club members earn the Water Challenge Badge.
Attending the open house does not require registration or museum admission, and the activities are free for kids 12 and under. Kids Club registration can be completed on site, but if you’d like to join the Kids Club in advance, you can visit ansp.org/kidsclub.
About the U.N. Water Challenge Badge
The Youth and United Nations Global Alliance was developed by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations in collaboration with other UN organizations with the mission to educate, motivate and empower young people to alter their behavior and become active agents of change in their local communities.
The YUNGA challenge badges are action-oriented, and the activities provide information and resources to empower kids to make the world more sustainable and equitable.
