6 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

Grab your expedition gear and join us on a journey through time.
6–8:30 p.m. Members-only preview of Ice Dinosaurs
Transport yourself to the Late Cretaceous period in the Arctic Circle, where feathered dinosaurs lived year-round in extreme polar environments. This immersive and educational experience brings this era to life with animatronic dinosaurs, engaging stories and real fossils, skeletons and museum casts.
6:30–7:30 p.m Academy Town Square - A Transforming Earth: The Legacy of the Devonian Period
After walking through Ice Dinosaurs, you are welcome to join us for another exploration through time. Hundreds of millions of years before the age of the dinosaur, Earth's forests first began to appear and the first limbed animals emerged. Learn more about this fascinating time in an Academy Town Square talk, open to the public, featuring real paleontologists including the Academy's own Ted Daeschler. And be sure to check out our exhibit Life onto Land before it closes!
Don't miss an evening full of fossil fun, including paleontology activities, scavenger hunts and refreshments!
