Gain hands-on field experience across a range of research areas and prepare for life after high school at the Academy’s Environmental Leadership Summer Academy (ELSA)!

During this immersive summer STEM camp for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, you will build your resume by doing real science in local community habitats and environments; beach, marsh, and Pine Barren ecology; and the fields of botany, lake ecology and geology.

If you are considering a career in STEM, find out what it means to be an environmental scientist and what it takes to be a leader in this rapidly growing field. ELSA is a combination of theory-based courses and hands-on immersion experiences led by Academy of Natural Sciences and Drexel University scientists and professors.

During this research-rich summer adventure, students will create bonds that last a lifetime, get college prep experience and create pathways to a future career in environmental science and related fields.
