Visiting Dates

When deciding on your activities, please allow 30 minutes for lunch and at least 60 minutes for free time to explore Dinosaur Hall, Science at the Academy, and the dioramas of North America, Asia, and Africa Halls. The Academy opens at 9:30 a.m. for groups. We encourage you to arrive early to take advantage of your time here.

Reservations for Lunchroom and Naturalist Shows

Lunchroom

Lunchroom reservations are for 30 minutes. Availability is limited and you will not be allowed in the lunchroom without a reservation.

Once your reservation request is submitted, the Reservations Office will email you a confirmation and a schedule for your field trip. If there is a conflict with your request, we will call or email you. If you do not receive an email from us within one week, please call the Reservations Office at 215-299-1060. Your trip is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation and pay the $50 deposit.
