Junior Academy Explorers ages 7-9 Will explore museum exhibits, make crafts, go on behind-the-scenes tours, conduct hands-on experiments and go on a weekly field trip.

Dig deep into the mystery of caverns as we take a closer look at some of our nation’s most fascinating caves. Learn what it takes to be a spelunker and develop your basic geology skills as you determine whether specimens are rock, mineral or fossil. With luck, you’ll not only understand rock formation, but you’ll also find some precious gems to take home!
