The Academy’s mineral collection contains thousands of specimens and dates to the earliest days of the institution when it was the most important collection of its kind in the young nation.

During this members-only tour, Academy scientist and Collections Manager Ned Gilmore will showcase a few of our most impressive specimens hidden inside this remarkable collection.
