The Ecology of Fashion Opening Celebration: A Sustainably Chic Affair

Join us for the unveiling of The Ecology of Fashion, the first-ever co-created exhibition by Drexel’s Westphal College and the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Featuring stunning and provocative garments from the Robert and Penny Fox Historic Costume Collection, paired with diverse and wondrous specimens from the Academy of Natural Sciences, The Ecology of Fashion sheds light on the ways the natural world is both fundamentally inspired and impacted by the clothes we wear.

Along with an exclusive preview of the new exhibit, the opening reception will feature fun and fabulous activities:

• A vast thrift market with Now + Then Marketplace and The Wardrobe
• Fashion illustrations by FABSCRAP
• Live weaving demonstrations by the Philadelphia Guild of Handweavers
• Music by Jazz180 presented by Vicinity Energy
• Concessions by Victor’s Pizza Truck
• Dino Drafts cash bar from 12th Street Catering
