The Academy at The Clay Studio: Pottery for Pollinators

Tuesday, June 27, 2023

6:00 PM-8:30 PM

Is your summer pollinator garden ready? Let our friends from The Clay Studio give you a hand!

Join us at this hands-on, members-only program at The Clay Studio. Led by a Clay Studio instructor, you will create one of two beginner-friendly pieces of hand-built pottery that will be the perfect addition to your backyard or window box garden!

Before you begin creating, you will also hear from our special guest Steve Jones, Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist, operator of the native plant nursery at the LandHealth Institute, and president of the Philadelphia Botanical Club. Steve will share best practices and tips on how to make any garden pollinator friendly. And don’t worry if this is your first gardening endeavor. Find out how you can do your part to help protect and provide green space for integral pollinator species by planning and planting a pollinator garden!

Members can register by using the special link in the upcoming June Museum Monthly email or by calling 215-299-1022.
