Women In Natural Sciences is a free afterschool and summer science enrichment program offered to female public school students. Since its founding in 1982, WINS has been providing participants with hands-on science classes, skill-building activities and opportunities for personal growth in a uniquely nurturing setting. To date, more than 820 young women have completed the WINS program. The program’s mentoring and support have resulted in 100 percent of students graduating high school and more than 96 percent attending college.
