Remember the “before-times”? Before Zoom, before social distancing, before a giant asteroid slammed into the Gulf of Mexico and wiped out 75% of terrestrial life? Yeah, we don’t either. But a bunch of really smart people at the museum insist that it existed! So, let’s take a night off to be kids again.
Put on your dino footy pajamas and dress your top half to the nines – it’s time for a virtual Door 19! Choose your own adventure by hopping from virtual room to virtual room at your leisure to explore the dino-mite fun of Door 19: Dino Night.
We’re bringing all the excitement of Door 19 into your home with the chance to:
- Enjoy a virtual, behind-the-scenes tour of the Academy’s Ornithology Collection featuring a live Q&A to learn about the dinos that still roam the world
- Cozy up to your keyboard (QWERTY or otherwise) and enjoy some live music
- Take a live, virtual flashlight tour of our newest exhibit, Permian Monsters, to see the creatures that roamed Earth before the dinosaurs
- Get up close and personal (in a virtual way) with some of our live animal ambassadors as they get up to shenanigans on the live animal-cam
- Access to a special 360° video tour of Dinosaur Hall as a thank-you for joining us
