Climate Action Resource Day

Friday, September 20, 2019

8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Are you passionate about issues of climate change and the protection of our urban environment?

The UN Climate Summit September 21-23 has inspired people across the country to make their voices heard in their own communities – including Philadelphia. If you’re planning to share your voice on September 20, we are here to support you!

Join us at the Academy for two free sessions – right on our front steps:

  • 8-10 a.m.: Craft your message, make a poster and meet up with friends before venturing to City Hall.
  • 3-5 p.m.: Create postcards and explore ways to connect with local representatives, and find resources for taking steps toward a healthier planet.

Join us at both sessions for more information on upcoming lectures and programs at the Academy focused on climate change, the future of our urban environment and how we can all take action.

Please note: Our programs are accessible before and after the school day. We do not endorse truancy with these offerings.
