More than 25 scientists and support staff work together and combine their areas of expertise in hydrology, biogeochemistry, wetland ecology, microbial ecology, ecotoxicology, all groups of biota (i.e., algae, macroinvertebrates, fishes, and other vertebrates), land-water interactions, GIS spatial analysis, and ecological modeling. This collective expertise, along with collaborators from various universities, is organized into interdisciplinary teams that are developing improved solutions to some of today’s most challenging environmental problems.
