Pollinators like bees, butterflies and bats are a really important part of our community! This event is developed for children and their families, but all are welcome to make positive changes for a healthier planet.

At the Academy of Natural Sciences, we believe that individual actions can truly make a difference. As part of our Small Actions Spark Big Changes initiative, each month of 2020 has featured a topic that guided our community in a conversation about everyday choices that affect the health of our environment.

This December, we are celebrating your efforts to create change by hosting a series of practical workshops for individuals who wish to make a difference in their communities. Join us to learn more about actions such as starting a rain garden, protecting pollinators, becoming a community scientist and more.
