Global warming is a massive, seemingly unsolvable problem facing humanity. However, humans have prevailed when confronted with problems of this scale before, and solutions to global warming already exist. Join us as Raymond Najjar, professor of oceanography at The Pennsylvania State University, outlines how these solutions, if implemented, will have numerous co-benefits including improvements in air quality, agricultural yields, human health, and economic and ecological well-being.

After passing away at a young age, her parents, Carol and Art Silverman established the annual Cheryl Beth Memorial Lecture to keep her memory alive. The Cheryl Beth Silverman Memorial Lecture continues Cheryl Beth’s work to be a voice for the animals and environment she loved.
