For the many early committees appointed for specific tasks, documents and reports have been included for the years 1813-1874. The collection itself includes a committee book dated 1813-1825 in which are listed the committees appointed, and a digest of their reports. The second part of the collection includes also the actual papers from the committees with their reports and notations. In all, 91 committees have been mentioned by name. In the Academy minutes of January 27, 1857 is a list of committees of that time.
