Entomologist, municipal and church official, but professionally the librarian of the Silas Bronson public library of Waterbury, Conn. These papers consist of letterbooks with drafts of entomological articles and letters. The subject matter includes family and personal, church and municipal affairs, some library correspondence, but mostly the scientific aspects of his study of cynipid insects and galls. His personal cabinet was donated to the American Entomological Society, when he was still a corresponding member.
