<p>Manuscript transcript of A. H. Haworth's <emph render="italic">Lepidoptera Britannica </emph>v. 3, 1803, pages 377-512. Attached letter addressed to C. H. Fernald, April 10, 1883, mentions the transcript as though Prof. Fernald had contracted with this man, attached to the staff of the British Museum, to do the copying.</p>
<p>The volume has a bookplate of H. T. Fernald, and presumably was purchased by the American Entomological Society, on Nov. 7, 1929, the date of its acquisition.</p>
