A Philadelphia physician, elected a member of the Academy in February, 1814. This resolution of appreciation concerning the Academy's loss in the departure of Correa da Serra for South America was submitted at the meeting of the Academy September 26, 1820 and written into the minutes of that date and there assigned to Warner. After the document was prepared and signed, Warner was asked to convey it to the Abbé. It was published in the transactions of the American Philosophical Society, 1955, n. s., v. 45 p. 179.

This unsigned manuscript was laid in the Academy's minute book under the date of September 26, 1820 but was removed and placed in this collection on October 9, 1960.
