Collector who financed an Academy expedition to Venezuela, accompanied by Stewardson Brown and Thomas S. Gillin. The Botanical specimens were mostly from the area around the mouth of the Orinoco River. This record carries 264 entries, dated Jan. 16-Mar. 13, 1911, with localities noted. These entries are set on alternate lines, with identifications written in by F. W. Pennell. The material was given to the Academy (now accessioned as nos. 560,820 to 561,080 inclusive) by F. E. Bond. Two letters, 1910-11, refer to a series of Venezuelan birds collected at the same time, and likewise donated to the Academy.
