Collection of engraved, colored plates of natural history subjects from an unidentified work, perhaps unpublished, probably German. These were signed as the property of R. H. Hering, on Jan. 26, 1856. A few of the engravings have the name “Kirn”, printed in reverse. The second plate is signed, “Kirn, pe.”
