Merit Badge Days for Boy Scouts

Follow the Boy Scout Trail to the Academy of Natural Sciences! Our workshops are perfect for advancement and adventure! Scouts will work towards completing their merit badges, but please remember that we do not provide them. Merit Badge Workshops are offered on selected weekends in the Fall of 2013 and the Winter and Spring of 2014. Three different programs are offered:

Environmental Science

Under the direction of our Merit Badge Counselor, scouts will be guided through a series of experiments and hands-on activities. This intensive workshop will provide your scouts with the majority of the requirements for completion of this required badge for Eagle Scout. Some activities will need to be completed at home and submitted to the merit badge counselor before or after the workshop for approval. Download the Environmental Science Merit Badge Guide for more information. Please be advised that the Environmental Science Merit badge involves a lot of writing in addition to the experiment work stations.
